The Proton VPN alternative that's post-quantum today
Secria VPN protects every WireGuard session with post-quantum ML-KEM-1024, on by default, on every server. It runs every server in RAM, and Secria Pro adds encrypted email for $9.99 a month. Proton describes its post-quantum VPN work as groundwork for the future, and it uses encrypted disks instead of RAM-only servers.

Why people look elsewhere
Three things Proton VPN does differently
Taken from Proton's own blog and help pages. Every point links to its source.
Post-quantum is still on the roadmap
Proton’s April 2026 roadmap says its new VPN codebase will “lay the groundwork for post-quantum encryption.”1 Its August 2026 technical post still describes post-quantum cryptography as a future technology.2
Encrypted disks, not RAM-only
Proton explains in its own blog that it does not use RAM-only servers. It encrypts server disks with LUKS and keeps the keys off-site.3
Premium mail is a separate, bigger plan
Proton VPN Plus comes with the free Proton Mail plan. Premium mail and VPN together means Proton Unlimited, listed at $12.99 a month on monthly billing.4
Post-quantum mail is a setting
Proton Mail’s post-quantum protection is something you enable in your account.5 In Secria Mail it is on for every plan, including free.

What you get with Secria VPN
Built for the traffic you send today
Post-quantum by default
Every session gets a fresh ML-KEM-1024 key mixed into WireGuard. Here is how our post-quantum VPN works.
RAM-only servers
Keys, configs and connection state live in memory only. See what RAM-only means.
No activity logs
We do not record browsing, DNS queries or traffic contents. While a session is live we hold the account and device it belongs to, the server in use and the time it started. That record goes when the session ends.
Multi-hop and kill switch
Route through three servers when you want to, and an OS-level kill switch blocks traffic if the tunnel drops.
Private DNS
Lookups are resolved on our own servers with DNSSEC, never handed to a third party.
Mail in the same account
Secria Pro adds Secria Mail with post-quantum email on by default, 500 GB and unlimited aliases.

Questions about switching from Proton VPN
