Secria named a top 10 startup at The Ventures SF 2026

Secria was selected as one of the top 10 startups at The Ventures Startup Award San Francisco 2026. Our co-founders, Adrian Maverick and Filip Balik, pitched Secria Workspace at the in-person final in downtown San Francisco on October 6, during SF Tech Week.

Ten startups, one stage

The Ventures runs startup awards around the world: 97 startup events with 100,000 participants so far, backed by a network of more than 460 venture funds, investors and business angels. In each city, only ten startups make it to the final and present live to a panel of judges. In San Francisco this year, Secria was one of them.

The final's investor lineup included people from Khosla Ventures, Pear VC, NFX, Afore Capital, Gaingels, Unshackled Ventures, Founder Institute and Geek Ventures, according to the SF Tech Week listing for the event.

What we pitched

We pitched Secria Workspace: one private workspace for your whole team, on your own domain.

  • Mail, your team's email on your own domain. Trackers are removed before anyone opens a message.
  • Calendar, where saying yes in an email puts the meeting in your week.
  • Drive, for sharing a file with a person, not a public link.
  • Pages, docs you write together, stored encrypted.
  • Assist, an assistant that runs on your computer, sums up threads and drafts replies in your words.

It all sits on the same foundation as Secria today: zero-access storage, hybrid post-quantum encryption (ML-KEM-1024 with X25519), and no ads or profiling. Secria Workspace is opening soon, and teams are invited in waves from the waitlist. Secria Mail and Secria VPN are already here for anyone to use.

Why it matters to us

Pitching in San Francisco during Tech Week put Secria in front of some of the most active investors in tech. Being picked as one of ten tells us that a private workspace for teams is a story worth telling on that stage.

Thank you to The Ventures, the judges and everyone who came to the final. And thank you to everyone who already uses Secria: you are the reason we had something worth pitching.
